Ronald Smith

Ronald R. Smith is a North Charleston community leader, business owner, mentor, trained violence interrupter, and credible messenger. After the loss of his daughter Ronjanae to gun violence, he made it his mission to help others choose a positive path.

He founded Positive Vibes Ronjanae Smith, Inc. and the Positive Vibes Pathway Program. His work includes mentoring at-risk youth, supporting grieving families, violence prevention, reentry support, community cleanups, family outreach, and helping young people access resources.

Ronald has trained in violence interruption, conflict mediation, trauma response, anger management, and cognitive behavioral approaches. He also operates Smith's Paint Body Shop LLC and Smith's Lawn & Landscape.

Katrina Sinclair

Katrina Sinclair grew up in the Deas Hill community in North Charleston. Inspired by her mother's kindness and generosity, she pursued a career as a certified nursing assistant.

In memory of her daughter Ronjanae, Katrina helped establish Positive Vibes in 2021. She is committed to helping families and young people through mentoring, community giveaways, homeless outreach, encouragement, and compassionate service.

Calvin Brown

Calvin Allen Brown is an author, entrepreneur, professional photographer, mentor, and community advocate from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He is the founder and CEO of Nfinity International, LLC and has more than 20 years of experience working with families, businesses, and community organizations through photography.

Calvin is the author of Rise Inspired: Real Talk. Real Faith. Real Life. and From My Lips to God's Ear: Honest Conversations That Change Your Life. He serves as Co-Executive Director of Positive Vibes and is involved in community service, youth mentoring, and support for other nonprofit organizations.

His mission is to encourage people, strengthen families, support young people, and help others discover their purpose.
